Tom Delaney is a transplanted Clevelander, currently in Chicago, via St. Louis and Philadelphia. In between class and whiskey, Tom was a sports editor for The University News, winning Missouris best sports columnist in 2005, and where he was criticized for Cleveland-centric homerism. After graduating from SLU, with a BA in Finance and Economics, Tom took an asset management job in Philadelphia to learn how other Steeler-hating fans lived.
Finding Philadelphians to be too cantankerous and ornery, Tom relocated to Chicago where he is a fund analyst for a mutual fund company. Tom deals with Bulls and White Sox fans, usually relying on two quotes: We got LeBron, or At least our manager and catcher arent two of the most hated men in baseball.
Tom can be reached at [email protected] if you want to complain about his most recent piece, or meet for a Sox-Tribe game.
