Every time I run into someone in a downtown bar that knows about the site, one of the first things I almost always hear is that "Moot Points" is their favorite column and that they "love that Hiko dude". This week's column is further evidence of why that praise is deserving as Hiko weighs in on the LeBron James Yankee Hat soap opera. And talks about the depths he will sink to in the name of love. It's Moot.

The Weekend Wrap
What a weekend. Kelly Pavlik, in an absolutely incredible fight, comes back from the dead to knock out Jermain Taylor to become the world's undisputed middleweight champion. The Browns ball bat the despicable Ravens and their toad of a head coach. The Buckeyes rout their fifth straight opponent, and wil be #4 in the rankings this morning. And the Indians finish the season and get set for the Yankees. I love this time of year.

The Needle & The Damage Done
Another day, another major star from the sports world accused of doping. And in this superb piece, Brian McPeek uses the occassion to weigh in on performance enhancing drugs and their effect on sports in today's world. Brian says that with no universal method to test for performance enhancers and no universal punishment for those caught cheating, the line has been blurred between what is genuine and what isn't. So let 'em all use, and lets have fun watching what happens.

Saturday night means it's "Moot Points" time here at The Cleveland Fan, and Hiko starts this weekend's piece with an epic take on a television commercial we've all seen that gets under his skin. Hiko also takes some time to hit on Casey Hampton, Britney Spears, and the Browns recieving corps. It's our dose of comic relief. It's "Moot Points".

The Two Greatest Moments In Cleveland Sports History
Six weeks ago we sought out to establish the greatest moment in Cleveland sports history since the city won their last professional sports title in 1964 when the Browns defeated the Baltimore Colts and Johnny Unitas for the NFL Championship. We started with a bracket of the 32 greatest moments, and whittled it down round by round. Now we're down to two. Click inside for details on our Finals matchup, and also the new brackets we have running here at TCF.
