LeBron James To Host a "Music Special" on Sirius
Sirius XM Radio is allowing LeBron James to host an exclusive music special showcasing the songs that helped “fuel him” during this past NBA season.
The show, LeBron James Bringin’ the Heat from Las Vegas (so edgy), will be broadcast on the channel known as The Heat (of course it will) today at 3 p.m., with repeats throughout the weekend.
“Music has always been a big part of my life, and this was a fun way that I could share that passion with my fans,” James said in a press release.
During the show, James will talk about his search for “uncontainable” amateur basketball superstars in Las Vegas (wonder if he is searching at Tao?), training for the Olympic Games in London, and his feelings about the 2012-13 NBA season.
Lovely.
“Sports and music fans will enjoy LeBron getting behind the mic and playing the music that motivates him when he plays and when he relaxes,” said Scott Greenstein president and chief content officer at SiriusXM. “This is a first for LeBron and we know our listeners will hear a different side to the NBA champion and the man leading USA’s quest for Gold at the Olympics.”
Sure they will.
We love Sirius radio more than just about anybody, primarily because it means we don’t have to listen to Cleveland radio. But things like this make us seriously want to call up and ask for a partial refund on our subscription.
