Ben Watson Not Worried About Concussions
Cleveland Browns tight end Ben Watson suffered three concussions during the 2011 NFL season - the third one landing him on the injured reserve list - but he says he's not worried about it.
“I don’t believe that every single player who had a concussion is feeling the effects of them — like many other injuries they affect people in different ways,” Watson told NBC Sports Talk. “It’s something you definitely research. If those guys are feeling the effects of concussions it’s definitely important that they get the treatment they need.”
Before being placed on IR, Watson caught 37 passes for 410 yards and two touchdowns.
Watson also talked about new quarterback Brandon Weeden and the Browns chances of competing in the AFC North - aka the NFL's Group of Death. Check out the video here.
