It’s no question that the Browns have been hit hard by injuries this year, ranging from Peyton’s hamstring to Greg Little’s serious and possibly permanent case of penis fingers. Cleveland’s IR is beginning to swell like Big Ben’s ankle, or more appropriately, like the fear in any college coed when Roethlisberger walks into the room.
Pat Shurmur took questions yesterday at his weekly press conference and was asked about Colt McCoy’s playing status for the Baltimore game. Whether there’s a quarterback controversy in Cleveland shouldn’t matter if one of the candidates can’t even play.

Pat Shurmur’s presser, "Right now, until Colt's healthy, we're going to go with Seneca." Essentially, Shurmur isn’t directly answering who “the guy” is, but either way, I’m sure the Browns will find a way to lose in soul crushing fashion.
In other injury related news, two more players are headed to injured reserve after getting knocked out of Sunday’s game against Arizona. Tight end Alex Smith suffered a sprained shoulder in the first quarter and linebacker Titus Brown went down with a knee injury in the third. Both will reportedly
miss significant time.
