Figz (The Optimist)

Bradley Fitzgerald (AKA Figz), was born on January 3, 2003 -- the night Ohio State defeated the mighty Miami Hurricanes 31-24 in double overtime to claim its first National Championship since 19-way-too-long-ago. His hobbies include fishing, running and volunteering. He works as a motivational speaker for an audience of one* and his favorite musical is Singin’ in The Rain. No, he has never actually watched it, but he just loves the title.

*That audience of one is Swisher, of course.

Defining Sports Moment:

Excluding the ‘02 National Championship game, the defining sports moment for Figz was the 2004 Ohio State - Michigan game. The Buckeyes were reaching new lows in the Tressel era before Ohio State crushed the Wolverines to get Tressel’s dominance of the Big Ten back on track.
