Wire Hitting The Fan Archive Tribe places 4 in BA's top 61

Four Indians prospects appear on Baseball America's annual top 100 rankings that were released today.  3B Lonnie Chisenhall leads the way at #25, followed by RHP Alex White at 47, 2B Jason Kipnis at 54 and LHP Drew Pomeranz at 61.  Chisenhall is the #2 3B in all of minor league baseball according to BA, trailing only Kansas City's Mike Moustakas who came in at #9 overall on the list.  As you'll no doubt remember, I had Kipnis #1 overall on my Indians prospect list, followed by Chisenhall at #2, Pomeranz at #3 and White at #5.

Speaking of the Royals, they have acquired quite an impressive collection of talent in their minor league system.  No fewer than nine Royals made the list, including a remarkable three in the top ten.  The White Sox had two in the top 100, and the Twins matched the Tribe's four (barely--their 4th player was #100 on the list).  So if The Plan v2.0 results in contention by 2013, we'll likely be battling the Royals for the division crown.  We're quite a ways from there of course, but what a wild, wonderful world that would be.
