Pryor to Have Surgery on Injured Foot
Fresh off his MVP performance in the Sugar Bowl, Terrelle Pryor will undergo surgery on his injured right foot Friday afternoon.
Pryor injured his foot in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter during a third and one play. Jim Tressel called for a quarterback sneak, and after the ball was snapped, Pryor dove forward into a pile of bodies. After making contact with the pile, Arkansas defenders jumped on Pryor to stop his forward motion. The injury occurred at some point during that play.
The surgery will take place to stabilize an injured ligament in his right foot. Most players who suffer this particular injury recover in 6-8 weeks, so Pryor isn’t expected to miss any practice during Spring ball.
