Wire Hitting The Fan Archive Five Ohio State Juniors Pondering NFL Jump
Written by David Regimbal

altHead coach Jim Tressel spoke with media members this week, saying five Ohio State underclassmen have submitted paperwork to the NFL draft advisory board. When asked which players submitted the paperwork, Tressel responded, “I can’t answer that.”

Although Terrelle Pryor has mentioned on numerous occasions that he’s planning on coming back to play his senior season, it wouldn’t shock me to find out he was one of the five. Sometimes players use this to test the waters and see where they stack up against the other elite players in the country. Whispers around the university are hinting toward Daniel “Boom” Herron giving serious consideration to forgoing his senior season for the NFL. With Jamaal Berry, Jordan Hall, Carlos Hyde and Rod Smith creating a crowded backfield, it might be an exciting move for the backups.

If I had to guess, I’d say the five players that submitted the paperwork are Boom Herron (Running Back), Mike Adams (Left Tackle), Mike Brewster (Center), DeVier Posey (Wide Receiver), and Nathan Williams (Defensive End).

Which five players do you think filed the paperwork? Leave your guesses in the comments section for a chance to win an awesome and completely existent and expensive prize.

And in case you were wondering, the picture is the feedback I hope each underclassmen receives from the draft advisory board. As an Ohio State fan, you can call me selfish.
