Jon Gruden is a somewhat hot commodity in the coaching world, and it seems that perhaps he has targeted his 2 most desirous destinations.

Deuce Gruden (a truly unfortunate name), high school junior and son of Chucky, told the Sports Rave podcast:

“[Dad] was going to let me finish high school … they were talking about going to San Francisco, but that’ll probably be in the next two years … or maybe Cleveland.”

If one is to believe that this was just a naive young man making a slip of tongue regarding insider family business (and that's entirely believable), Gruden may see returning home to Ohio to join old friend Mike Holmgren and take over a rising organization as a fine opportunity.  And San Fran... why not consider San Fran?  Historic franchise, a lot of nice pieces already in place, beautiful city... damn, I'd want that job too.

Let us also assume that Gruden is embarrassed and probably furious with Deuce for opening his big yap.  And maybe just a bit foolish anticipating jobs that might be open and waiting for him in 2012.
