Rich SwerbinskyOhio State unveiled their 2006-2007 men's basketball schedule late last week, and there's plenty to be excited about for Buckeye hoops fans. Half of the teams 30 regular season games are slated for national television, and big game after big game lines the schedule. On a down note, the team will be without super frosh Greg Oden for the first month or two as he recovers from off-season wrist surgery.

Rich SwerbinskySimply amazing. Maurice Clarett, arrested early this morning in Columbus with four loaded guns in his SUV after fleeing police and then trying to resist arrest. The officers had to use mace on Mo C, because their stun guns were rendered ineffective by the bulletproof vest Clarett was wearing. Yes, you read that last part right. Mike FurlanFurlan's countdown of the ten greatest Buckeye football players ever continues with Vic Janowicz at #6. Janowicz is one of the greatest athletes ever to play for the scarlet and gray, and won the Heisman Trophy in 1950. Primarily a halfback, Janowicz also punted and played some quarterback, and went on to play pro baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Mike FurlanOhio State Buckeye correspondent Mike Furlan is back, this time to detail the Buckeye Invasion of the NFL this past weekend. Five Buckeyes went in the 1st round, seven went on the first day, and nine got drafted in total. Another five were signed as undrafted free agents.
