Indians Lose Gagne Sweepstakes
Eric Gagne signed with the Texas Rangers yesterday, inking a deal that will pay him 6 million dollars next season, and as much as 11 million bucks if he hits all of his incentive clauses. Indians Sign Joe Borowski
The Indians added another piece to their 2007 bullpen today, signing Joe Borowski to a one year deal worth 4.25 million, with a 4 million dollar club option for 2008. However, the Indians are said to still be in talks with Keith Foulke, Eric Gagne, and Octavio Dotel as well.

Groundhog Day, Again
Gary Benz longs for the days when Indians free agent signings were NOT listed on page C11 of the Plain Dealer sports page, as this weekends signings of Roberto Hernandez and Aaron Fultz were. It's the same 'ole, same 'ole he says. The Indians simply refuse to play ball when it comes to free agents. And the legitmate players they do target ... opt for teams with owners seemingly more committed to building a winner.

The Dellucci Code
In his latest, Tony Lastoria tries to make sense of the David Dellucci signing, which underwhelmed many Tribe fans that were looking for the team to make a bigger splash in free agency this year. In attempting to unravel The Dellucci Code, Lastoria theorizes that this signing could lead to another move that could affect the Indians outfield.
