Flipping On Flip
What the hell happened to Flip Murray? After providing a much needed shot in the arm for the Cavs last year in the wake of the Larry Hughes finger injury, many fans of this team screamed bloody murder when he was not pursued by Danny Ferry this off-season. As it turns out, it was the right move says Papa Cass. What we saw from Flip last year was an anomoly, and he'd just be taking minutes from Daniel Gibson.

Cavs/Magic: The Good, The Bad, & The Summary
The up and down play of the Cavaliers continued this weekend as the team stomped the Sonics at home, and then laid an egg in Orlando, scoring just 74 points in an ugly loss. Our man on the Cavs beat, John Hnat, recaps the weekends action breaking down both games for us ... and providing the good, the bad, and the summary.

Everything To Everyone
LeBron James looks tired, and should anyone be surprised? Lets review. Savior of Cleveland basketball? Check. Key member of the USA national team? Ditto. Nike pitchman, a capacity that requires him to play not one, but four, roles in a commercial campaign? Yep. Media magnet? Definitely. Devoted son, father and boyfriend? We'd like to think so. No one said becoming the world's first billionaire athlete was going to be easy. LeBron's determined. But are the Cavs and their fans going to suffer because of it?

Cavs/Bobcats: The Good, The Bad, & The Summary
It was Anderson Varejao Wig Night last night at The Q, and appropriately, Andy sealed the Cavs 104-101 win with a last minute dunk on a nice feed from LeBron. This was another one of those games that was closer than it shoulda been, and the Cavs are clearly still trying to find their groove this season. The indomitable John Hnat is here with his game review, and you will find none better anywhere on the web.

Cavs/Hornets: The Good, The Bad, & The Summary
The good news is that the Cavs played about 45 minutes of decent basketball last night. The bad news is that NBA games are 48 minutes long. After rallying to tie the game at 89-89 with a little under three minutes remaining, the Cavs decided to call it a night, and the New Orleans/Oklahoma City/Formerly Of Charlotte Hornets pulled away for a 95-89 win. The anti-Branson, John Hnat, breaks it down for us.
