For at least this Sunday, the Browns took a trip back to the good 'ole days, defending their home turf in an old school fashion. Trap plays, power running, stout hard hitting defense, and a dominance in the time of possession battle. The offense was efficient, tough, and well run in the first game of The Jeff Davidson Era, giving Browns fans a glimmer of hope for brighter days ahead. The Rhino is here with the recap.

The New York Jets are the kind of team The Rhino hoped that the Cleveland Browns had a chance to be this year. A lousy team last year, the Jets have achieved a level of mediocrity this season to which the Browns can only aspire. The Jets currently boast a 4-3 record, and are led by two dominant rookie offensive lineman: D'Brickshaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold. Regardless, the Rhino thinks the Browns have a shot today ... if they run Droughns early and often.
