Nick AllburnNick Allburn checks into his regular Friday slot with his weekly "Heroes & Zeroes" column. In it, Nick hands out dawg bones and demerits to the previous weeks best and worst players for the Browns, keeping running standings in both the heroes and zeroes columns as the season progresses. DA's three first half INT's earned him more demerits this week, and the positive side of the ledger had some of the same usual suspects as well.

It's time once again for The Outsider, and like many of us, Hiko feels the Browns fared reasonably well against a very staunch opponent last Sunday. An opponent that Hiko strives for the Browns to emulate, and sees the beginning stages of that mimicry starting to develop. In addition to his superb quarter by quarter recap of the contest, Hiko also uses his space to make the argument that the time for Brady Quinn to start is here. Gary BenzGary Benz checks in with his regular Sunday afternoon post-Browns game analysis, and says that while today's loss to the Patriots showed that the Browns still have some work to do, that the gap between the Browns and the upper levels of the league is not as wide as it once was.  And that the Browns division wins in September has helped the teams overall confidence, allowing them to hang in this game once it started to slip away from them.
