Throw The Tarp Away And Turn On The Sprinklers
The New York Jets are the kind of team The Rhino hoped that the Cleveland Browns had a chance to be this year. A lousy team last year, the Jets have achieved a level of mediocrity this season to which the Browns can only aspire. Drinking The Sand
John Hnat is fascinated with Browns fans downright giddy reaction to the firing of Maurice Carthon. In this excellent column, Hnat delves deeper into the Mo C firing, and examines the mob like mentality that Browns fans developed towards the teams embattled former offensive coordinator. The Morning After: Denver
Some teams use their bye week to get healthy. Some use it to make some minor adjustments to the playbook. Some use it as a time for soul-searching. The Browns, argues Erik Cassano, did none of the above. In his "Morning After" column, Papa Cass delivers a harrowing and honest state of the union of the Browns franchise, and argues that Crennel, Savage, and even Lerner could be gone by the time this team is ready to compete.
