The Morning After: Kansas City
A quarterback controversy? We know how to do that. And it's about the only thing this season has been missing. In "The Morning After", Papa Cass looks back on yesterdays shocking home overtime win over the Chiefs , and comments on what appears to be yet another blossoming QB controversy. Things get started back up quickly for the Browns this week, as they travel to Pittsburgh for a Thursday night game.

Watching With One Eye Closed
Here we go again. Sunday mornings used to be the highlight of my week. Now they feel as if I have a funeral to attend later in the day. In his preview of todays game, the Rhino breaks down Herm Edwards' Chiefs, and also takes some time to examine the Browns schedule ... which has been brutally tough so far. And notes that in addition to be being bad, the Browns have also been pretty unlucky.

Stop The Bleeding, Draft Some Linemen
The Browns have selected nine offensive linemen since 1999, but have chosen a lineman on the first day of the draft only twice. By way of comparison, the New England Patriots have drafted 12 offensive linemen since 1999. Six of those guys were first day selections. Over the same time span, the Browns have selected six wide recievers on the drafts first day. The Rhino pleads for a change in policy.

Staying The Course
In a press conference earlier today, Browns General Manager Phil Savage gave Romeo Crennel the dreaded vote of confidence, vowing that the team would stay the course with it's current leadership. Gary Benz knows that this won't be popular with the fan base, and suggests the fans are probably right on this one.

The Morning After: Cincinnati
The Romeo Crennel Era ended on Sunday afternoon, writes Papa Cass in his latest. Romeo may not know it yet, but it ended. Papa Cass talks about the latest disaster for the Browns, and why Romeo is not the right man for the monumental task of turning this ship around. In "The Morning After", Cassano gives us the eulogy for the soon to be latest former head coach of the once proud Browns franchise.
