Looking at these two teams, it seems like theres no way Illinois should or could be able to give any resistance at all to the Buckeyes.

However, Illinois is playing better, and is at home. Game should be cold and very windy. Illini has a QB that can make things happen, and the Bucks have a couple guys that they will rest (errr ... they're hurt, yeah, thats it) on defense.

At no point will the outcome be in question. However, the Bucks have to have a letdown game at some point this season. Even in '02, they had a couple games where they were sloppy, underachieved, and got spooked.

Tressel will try and strike quick with his aerial weapons early, and pound the ball late in a windy environment. Juice Williams makes one big play with his feet and one with his arm.

The Buckeye offense has one of its least prolific days of the year. Troy throws a pick and the Bucks lose a couple fumbles. A late Illinois TD makes the final score ...

Might be the worst OSU game I have watched in some time
Troy might have brought the field right back into the Heisman race.
Terrible offense today

WTF was Tressell calling in the 2nd half? The Bucks looked like they were playing not to lose....I mean, how many times were they going to try and hammer Pittman in there when it wasn't working?

The Bucks were reeling, and were saved by the bell. Had Illinois had another 2 minutes or so there, I believe they mave have tied that game up. That's have discombobulated we were.

And, Smith now is definitely no longer a sure thing for the Heisman. Still the favorite....but now he is a mediocre game against Michigan from bringing Quinn back into it in a virtual heat.

We survived today.

Jim Tressel 2002 reared his ugly head. That was awful to watch. Run, run, get your Heisman candidate killed, punt. Tress really jammed up Troy and the offense in the second half. A win is a win. Ohio State will still beat TTUN by two scores. Very disappointed in the play calling. Cost me alot of money. Next week will be better.

Maybe Tressel took the offense into the tank because Troy Smith looked lost out there all day. He looked completely lost after the second drive of the game when it looked like a Buckeye walk.

Not having Boone at LT turned out to be a bigger deal than anyone would have expected.

Chris Wells needs handles on the football.

Ugly or not, I'll take it. I agree with most of you about the play calling. Illinois had the Buckeyes number on the running game. They should have opened the flood gates, and thrown down the field.
