Bron going nuts on Warriors

5 triples. 31 pts with 5 and change to go in the third.

Need this win...specially with Baron and Murphy out.

Too much standing around, terrible games from Gooden, Z, Sasha. LeBron disappeared since Lebowski's post.

Lose twice this year to the Warriors, both times without Baron Davis.

Stephen Graham showed a couple things though. Looks as if he may be a keeper, at least past his 1st 10 day contract. Played a little D, showed he can take the ball to the hole and create some things.

Sasha has no defense at all
They need to make a move with Larry being out longer

I caught a lot of the game on radio....kept hearing Tait mention "Graham" and I had no idea who this guy was. When in there, Tait complimented him often saying he was playing well filling up the stat sheet...taking the ball to the hoop. How did he look?

And, WTF happened to Lebron? 2 points the last 17 minutes on only like 5 FG attempts?

OK. Got get Stephon if he is available. This team needs another option until Hughes gets back.

Marbury
Hughes
LeBron
Marshall
Z

and let's roll. Try to outscore everyone else!

LeBron looks pissed off the last couple of games because he has no help.

And then watch the Pistons beat us 80-68 four straight in the playoffs.

Even without Hughes, this team has enough scorers. They will not take the next step (East Finals) until they upgrade their defense.

They dont play defense now
They try to run a half-court game and dont have the ammo to do so
They should be trying to outscore everyone.
Look what happened when they played run and gun against the Suns
They came back and beat one of the best teams in the NBA
Are they going to win the title this year? No, but they have a better chance running up and down then they do playing a slowdown game.

No team in the history of the NBA (or at least since I've been alive) has won a title playing to outscore people. If it was ever going to happen, it woulda happened with last years Suns, who were a helluva team.

Even if it would help us win a couple extra games, it makes no sense to switch to a style of play that is destined to fail in the postseason. The Cavs aren't winning a title this year, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't do everything in their power to be as ready as they can when they get there.

Teams have been trying to "up the tempo" against the Pistons and Spurs for two years straight now, and have been failing on a nightly basis. The Cavs need to continue to work on their team and indivdual defense, and proficiency in the half court. Their half court offense is pretty good when they start it with that entry pass to Z.

I do agree that this team has guys that thrive in transition. Bron is already one of the greatest fast break players in the league, if not the best. Hughes is also great in transition when hes not out with bull shit injuries. Donyell likes to run the floor. They'll never be able to truly utilize these guys in transition until they obtain a quick waterbug PG to initiate it all.

Better than watching Indiana or the Bucks beating us 98-90 4 out of 5 in the first round!
