How much traffic does the chatroom get? The reason I ask is because I've been posting here since last April and I just noticed it today.

Thanks Peek, you're top notch. Just talked to my brother who just left the hospital and nothing has changed yet, still unconscious but still hanging on. We're all heading back home tomorrow after work so I'll know more then. Right now we're just trying to stay upbeat.

Maybe we should schedule chats for big events? (Ex: MLB opening day, trade deadlines, NFL/NBA drafts, playoff games, sporting championships, etc)

I think the biggest issue is nobody knows about it. I honestly didn't either. If events are scheduled, and enough people are not at said event, I guarantee it'll get a great deal of use. Maybe we could test it for the first Cavs game with our new pieces, or for the Indians first televised ST game?

Maybe instead of game threads, head to the chatroom for games.

Although, that takes away from catching up on the emotions of the game via the game thread... thus, a double edged sword.

I do like that idea. Is there a chat log feature, that we can save the chat session? Could be great when someone says something stupid.

Or maybe you're right, and we should only break it out for big games/events.

It does. It's nothing fancy, and it looks like it's straight out of 1993, but I tested it for a couple minutes tonight, and it seemed to work fine.
