This kid Berto looks better every time I see him on HBO. That may be his last non main event fight we see from him.
He needs to take a step up in competition. However, he told the Fight Dr that he wants to fight 4-5 times this year.
Margarito/Cintron fight in April. Judah/Sugar Shane in May. While the winners of these two fights would be likely next foes, I don't think he'll wait on em.
Whos next? Collazo? Clottey? Forrest?

I don't know. I agree you need to see Berto against a better class of boxer. I realize it's a process, but he did what he should have done to a dude named Michelle.
I like watching boxing whenever it's on, but that was a fight befitting its Pechanga preliminary status.
As an aside, Williams is having all kinds of trouble with Quintana through 2 rounds. Interesting to see if Williams can keep him away and take measure of that reach advantage.

Wow
Great fight by Quintana
Williams/Berto now seems to make a lot of sense in May.

Williams looked like shit, defense wasn't there.
I don't think that fight make sense.
Berto is a #1 contender by a few organizations. He just might get a shot at Quintana.

Kept waiting for the toll of that fight to catch up to Quintana. To his credit, he took just enough time off during a couple rounds to last.
I agree with Max Kellerman. That was nearly a perfect fight by QUintana.
I love free fights on HBO.

When I think perfect fight, I think domination and precision.
The fight was an ugly one with the guy that won gassing in the 4th and taking a few rounds off.
Quintana won a gritty ugly fight, nowhere near perfect to me.

The fight wasn't perfect, Peeker was saying Quintanas performance nearly was, and I agree.
Set the tempo. Got the lead. Took a couple rounds off to recoup in the middle. Then finished him by winning the final four rounds.

He won, that's all that matters.

Exactly.
Quintana had no margin for error and had to execute perfectly to win it. And he did do that.

The gameplan was perfect, not the fight.

Exactly. Which was what Peeker initially said.

Maybe if you weren't so argumentative, we'd have more than 3 people in this forum.

How do you figure?
I give you my opinion and why.
Is there something wrong with that?

Nothing wrong, just a suggestion.

I really wasn't arguing actually, just giving my thoughts on what I think is a perfect fight.
Sorry if you guys took it the wrong way.
