Cal was a great pick. Their defense was just plain nasty. Lynch and Jackson are studs.

Congrats on a big day Swerb.

JJG, now might be a good time to jump ship.

The key with the reverse psychology is that you can't overuse it.

Yeah. You're right. I had the big winner yesterday but got a bogus line. Kentucky looks like a winner and Oregon State looks ok...for now.

Purdue and Joe Tiller suck ass! They are a joke. Not even competitive against an ACC team. How the fuck can you run a spread offense and generate 7 points?

I'm out for blood today.

The U, playing for a lame duck coach, on new years eve, up in Boise, Idaho? Are you kidding me?

The Wolfpack run the ball well, create turnovers, and unlike Miami ... will be jacked for this game. Recipe for disaster for the thieves, thugs, and criminals at The U.

I like Miami, their new coach is on the staff and he will probably have some say in what is going on tonight.
They have too much talent to lose to Nevada.

They lost to Virginia this year.

And had to rally to beat Duke 20-15.

Thats some talent right there ...

BOWL GAMES

13-6 (+$446)

4* 5-2
3* 7-3
2* 1-1

Let's keep this rollin' ....

Over the last 10 years, favorites have covered almost 70% of the time on Jan 1 and after. I love the favorites again today.

5* Arkansas -2.5

4* Tennessee -4

3* Auburn -2

1* West Virginia -10.5

Still pondering the late games, and the size of the plays. Leaning Michigan, like Oklahoma.

Happy new year everyone.

That USC game was the easiest money I ever made in my life. One of the few bets you know are a winner before the game even starts.

LLLLLLLLLLoyd Carr = Worst "big" game coach ever

Yesterday's winners:
Penn St. +3.5
Wisconsin +2.5
USC +2.5
Over 50.5 Boise & Oklahoma
Over 48 in Mich & USC
USC +8.5 & over 42 teaser
USC +2.5 & over 48 parlay

Losers:
Under 48.5 WV & GT
Over 41 PSU & Tenn

5* 0-1
4* 5-5

OUCH ... what an ugly day. 1-5, lost all my bowl winnings, and got knocked out of every bowl pool I was in.

Thats why they call it gambling fellas.

Licking my wounds tonight and taking a pass. After watching football and drinking wine for 14 straight hours yesterday, I need a day off from football ... and Louisville/Wake Forest is as good a reason as any to pop in a movie instead.

4* LSU & ND over 55.5

My gut tells me Notre Dame will keep it close and will need a shootout in order to win.

I started 9-2 and then proceeded to lose just about every single game from that point on. Vegas had to make a killing on New Year's Day.

I don't see how Notre Dame can even compete with LSU tonight. They have lost their last 8 bowl games by an average of 16 points per game. That is, of course, because they keep getting bids to bowls they have NO BUSINESS being in.

I can't wait to sit back and watch them get embarrassed again.

Man I'm sorry you lost Swerb. But I gotta say it was really a no lose situation for ya pal. Either you win money or you get to see ND lose their 9th straight bowl game.
