On the banner, you have Sizemore, James and Tressel: each representing the present and future of their respective teams. Then, there is Bernie. A fine Brown, but not an integral part of the team at the moment. Just curious on your selection. Some people (i.e. myself)

sometimes like to read into things too deeply.

Who is the present and future of the Browns?

Touche'
Like many do, I was quick to point out a "negative" without providing a solution. Alas, I fancy myself a Tribe fan, while idly keeping tabs on the others. No suggestions are at hand.

LOL, I was JK by the way. How bad is it when the team has been back for 7 years.....and they STILL lack a face for the franchise to identify with?
With the Cavaliers it is clearly Lebron. With the Indians, I think guys like Sizemore and Hafner are the starting to get that "face" recognition.
But the Browns? Yeesh.

I'd go with the only guy on the team that has seemed to show any true consistency.
Phil Dawson.
Gotta love it when the "face" of your team is the kicker...

It was a tough choice. The Browns have no real face the way I see it now, one of many challenges the team faces.
We hope Frye will be that face, but as we've seen here, not even being the #1 overall pick guarantees anything. Droughns? He's probably the closest thing. Maybe Andra Davis. Ryan Tucker, Terrelle Smith? RTs and FBs can't be faces of the org.
Braylon and Winslow are both huge question marks for next season also.
Bernie reminds me of happy days of past, and what I want this team to once again become ... and then there is the natural link of me having written for his mag and website. Thats why I gave him the nod.

I feel vindicated, Rich.
