the Monsters are on FSN Ohio against the Quad City Flames tonight at 7 p.m. from the Q.

I'm sure that the game drew a .7 rating, which would be proportional to its attendance. Nevertheless, the Monsters picked up their first home win.

Monsters are at home Saturday against Toronto at 7:30 and home again against Manitoba on Sunday at 5. Saturday is "Salute To Canada Night!" Saturday's game will be televised on FSN Ohio.

At some point, ST, I'll be down at the Q for a game. The last couple weeks have been busy, but next month looks a bit better.

Incidentally, for those who are enterprising enough and don't mind a road trip, Sunday is a good day to drive to Cowtown for a hockey doubleheader. The Buckeyes play Robert Morris at 1:30, then the Jackets face the Wings at 5. A long day, but those who go down from here could conceivably be home by 10 or 11. Not a bad day of hockey for those who have a hockey jones.
