Week One of the OHSAA playoffs kicks off tomorrow night. There are some great games Friday and Saturday night. I hope to catch one or two on a local or statewide broadcast. If you are a true football fan, you are missing the boat if you don't catch any Ohio H.S.Playoff games.

Here are some good 1st round matchups...

Mentor vs Solon
St Ignatius vs. Glenville
St X vs Lakota West
Colerain vs Moeller (i think Colerain wins it all)

Maple Heights vs. Olmsted Falls
Pickerington vs. Canfield

Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit vs. Niles McKinley
Hubbard vs. Youngstown Liberty

We'll have to wait until the championship when Youngstown Mooney faces Coldwater in a rematch of last year's game. There will be about 12-15 Div 1-A prospects in that one.

When did Walsh Jesuit become Cuyahoga Falls? I know they were Stow at one time. I guess I wasn't paying attention but did the school move to a new facility?
