Shipment from Cleveland

Unread postby General » Thu Nov 08, 2007 1:02 pm

Just received my shipment of italian sausage and cheeses from Alesci's and as a bonus my family steamed up some cherrystone clams and froze it all and sent it down to me. You just can't get good stuff like that on the "Redneck Riviera".

Alesci's is the best. My wifes best friends dad owns the one on Mayfield Rd. One of my good buddie's mom works at the one in Willowick. I grew up in Willowick ... and spent a good part of my youth eating food from Alescis.

Official food provider of all the big TCF Clan poker games.

I love making homemade pizzas on my stones with their dough, sauce, and fresh meats and cheeses.

On a side note, a new Italian specialty foods store just opened in Twinsburg pretty close to my house. Haven't got there yet. Maybe tonight now!

I would kill for a place like Alesci's, Ferrarra's, or DiStefano's down here in the panhandle. If I had any marbles I'd open one myself.

When's the next one of those??

Lead Pipe will tell ya, we can accomodate 20-22 in the Weber Ave Garage.
Fridge, cable tv, heated, sanitation station, prize vault, sirius radio.
Let's set it up.

General- I have Ferrara's at least once a week and Biagio's (Lander & Wilson Mills) about the same.

Not only can't you find these places in most other states, but I work with a ton of westsiders who complain there's nothing like those places over there either.

The Ferrara's italian sub with sweet & hot peppers is a staple of my diet.

I worked at the Outback Steakhouse and lived right across the street from there for 3-4 years. They still got em lined up and waiting for the lunch rush?

Damn those are good.

Been at least a year since I've had one.

Ferrara's is excellent as well.

Oh yeah. Lined up and ready. You can walk in their at the peak of lunch behind 20 people and you're out of their in 3 minutes.

Awesome place. The prosciutt and provolone stuffed pepers, the shells and olives.

Shit. That's good.

Now let's not ignore that poker question. We need a game somewhere.

Set er up. I will start a topic in the gamblers den. Fill in the details as they come about. Let's try to get as many from here as possible, then open it up to others. How quick can we get this rolling? Play Sunday early evening?

Should we do it on Weber Avenue?

We do most of our grocery shopping in the same plaza as Alesci's (Shoregate), and you can smell the goodness from the parking lot. It is a great store to walk around in. Just don't do it hungry.
