Deng's first game

He shot well in his 21 minutes on the floor, while Kyrie showed him why it might be worth hanging around after next season in a rare road win.

If we could just improve our performance, overall, on the road (3-15, NBA worst) that itself would go a long way to getting us a 4th seed spot, which is still not beyond the realms of possibility given the new low that the Eastern conference has descended to.

Best thing about Deng being on the team is that Clark and Gee get less PT.

First impression is that he will make a huge difference in the coming months, for a variety of reasons--the most significant being that now opposing teams will actually have to GUARD the SF position. Yeah, he had four TOs last night, but that will be remedied with PT. At least a couple of times, it looked like he wanted to dish the ball but got hung up when someone he expected to be somewhere wasn't.

Be far better off if he never has to put the ball on the floor. No moe than a bounce or two for position. Anything else is really bad for your turnover ratio.

Really like him though. Huge get at a huge void.
