Would you trade 2 #1's for RG 3?

Yes. World got way to influenced by Adrian Peterson's remarkable recovery and expected the same thing from Griffin. Next year he will return to form.

Who will be the new HC at Texas?

David Shaw

What's on the XMas day menu?

The works

Name a poster who has bailed since the inception you miss reading?

Swerb

Browns draft at 4 overall. Reasonably, who yah taking today?

Without knowing who does what, my top 4 are Bridgewater, Clowney, Watkins, Boyd
Home Run Leaders as RHB 5/7/13

Yes

Hopefully Saban, because it'd be amusing. They'd have to hide that statue with Paterno's, I think.

Goose.

swb/gnati.

Anthony Barr. (Assuming Bridgewater, Clowney, and Matthews all go off the board in the first three picks)

Yes. :hide:

Who will be the new HC at Texas?

No idea.

What's on the XMas day menu?

Bracciole, eggplant, linguine and Swerb's recipe for red sauce and meatballs.

Name a poster who has bailed since the inception you miss reading?

e0y2e3 and John Hnat.

Browns draft at 4 overall. Reasonably, who yah taking today?

Watkins or Dennard (if Watkins not available). You could probably talk me into an OT like Mathews though.

Also, interesting on Barr. Just based on ceiling? You think he'll be that much of an impact player to take him despite only a year at LB and even though you could argue that OLB spot is a strength on this team (relatively speaking)?

1. lol no.

2. No idea. Probably not Saban.

3. Some of the basics, but with a weird combination of Italian and German foods mixed in.

4. Wabo and Aoxo

5. I have no idea what the draft boards look like, so this could be a huge reach. But i'm down with your Sammy Watkins enthusiasm.

1. Absolutely

2. Mack. New boss same as the old boss

3. Ham. Although I'd like to start my own thing at home this year. If so I'll probably decide between Swerbs spaghetti and meatballs, or go with roast beast. Only problem is, even if I get to eat dinner at home with the wife and kids, I won't be home all day to do the sauce.

4. Eoy

5. TB, Clowney, Watkins, best DB/OL if not too much of a reach.

I don't dodge ghetto birds anymore. Too old for that shit. The right people know me. But you're right, Christmas is big business and I can't ignore my customers.

Steve Buffum. Did he not ever post here under "swb"?

RE: Barr, I just think he looks like a pretty awesome player. I acknowledge that there's even less of a chance of us taking him than us going after Cutler, but I'm not the one who paid Kruger $8mil/yr, so I don't lose any face by cutting bait in a fantasy situation where my opinion matters. Personally, I don't see OLB as much of a strength, either. Mingo/Sheard/Kruger/Groves can be a solid enough rotation, I suppose, but I'd put pass rusher right after passer in terms of positional value, and our top sacker with three games to go is at 5. I'll never regret the Barkevious Mingo pick, because of the quality of his name alone, but that selection shouldn't force us into taking a WR at the top of the draft instead of an elite pass rusher. Plus there are other attractive WRs to be had later, too, IMO. I like both of the LSU WRs, I like the Robinson guy from PSU...

ETA: At the moment, I'd take Barr ahead of Clowney, too. Clowney vs. Watkins would be a really tough choice for me.

1) Indy's plus next years? Yes. Both this year? Maybe.
2) Someone on the radio just suggested Jimbo Fisher (think it was Schefter). I don't buy that with the recruiting class he has coming in. I have no idea.
3) The wife wants turkey. I want a rib roast.
4) Buff
5) Bridgewater, Clowney or trade downey.

A goose/ Really?

What was that kids name who was in college? Jordan something? Funny as hell.

I hate Gnati for not positing more. Miss Buff. Wish Peeker and Eye would squash it. Wabo is still alive and doing well. I owe him a call for a get together. I have his season 1 of the Wire DVDs going on 2 years now...

And I DO remember that Swerb guy...

Would you trade 2 #1's for RG 3? Yeah, probably. He probably will be better next year than he was in either of his first two.

Who will be the new HC at Texas? Chucky.

What's on the XMas day menu? Basically everything you'd see on a Thanksgiving Day menu.

Name a poster who has bailed since the inception you miss reading? There are too many.

Browns draft at 4 overall. Reasonably, who yah taking today? Watkins, I suppose.

Buff was Buff when I arrived. Maybe he was swb before that. Not sure.

Can't say I disagree with the Barr analysis. I think Mingo will be a handful if he puts on 20lbs and figures out another move to go with "fast as shit".

Guess I feel like DB/WR is more of a pressing matter if you can find an excellent one to pair with Haden/Gordon.

Yeah i'm not familiar with him at all. I had to Google him to learn about his work.

We had a similar, albeit much later (1970 I think) late night TV personality here in Columbus called Fritz the Nite Owl. Similar formats, public domain horror/Sc-Fi flicks.

A lot of the same movies MST3K riffed on.

Typical Cowlumbus. Try to compensate with some lame generic knock off.

Ha!

I love the idea, but unfortunately in Cleveland you have a better chance of finding enough geese for everyone than you do finding people who aren't fat.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I was busy installing our new solid gold toilet I picked up in my Duesenberg.

One thing I've never understood is why you guys refer to Cleveland as "C-Town"? That's us . From the days of having real cows everywhere. I mean.... it still obviously applies today, just of the 2 legged variety. You're C-Land, we're C-Town.

The Jim Rome show. Columbus is C-Bus.

Since Jim Rome isn't in the market anymore, I guess we should quit using those names.

Fuck the browns on all questions.

Brined turkey probably roasted this time.

Fuck the browns. They will fuck up the draft also.

Who cares about Texas? Everyone on these boards bitches about everything that doesn't end in buckeyes.

Out of order answers but I put one on after another bullshit stupid afternoon of watching the Lerner/Haslem abortion of football. The vaunted defense couldn't stop Saint Ann's today and the "offense" was a friggin joke.

Go to hell Banner and Lombardi. Horton get off your mountain you have to remember third down means something. The offense is a Valium. :pb:
Browns are an irrelevant and comical organization-Do I really have to change this?
