Can't wait!!!

Bitterly cold and gale-force winds.

Plays perfectly into our ability to run the ball!!!

I'd give it to McGahee 65 times, rack up those 100 rushing yards and turn the defense loose against Ben.

***

Gonna be record for number of slants and checkdowns this afternoon on the lake front. Not sure what the checkdown record is, actually, but it should be easily found since Campbell set it last week.

Go Team!!!

A lot of talk this week about our D and NOT the Steelers D (nice change of pace) and some questions about which team has the advantage especially with the weather outlook. IMO that is a dumb ass question. Ben is by far the superior QB, Ben extends plays as well as any QB in the league (even at his size and age), and he's still BIG Ben and has an all around better arm. Pittsburgh isn't located in the Caribbean either. IOW, he knows this weather and if we don't take Ben down to the ground he is the X factor for today's game.

I'm not of the opinion we're still playing for much, other than a respectable number of Ws AND the opportunity to impact this rivalry. We have a unique opportunity to get this rivalry back on track today, and really send a message by years end if we can sweep this very sweep-able bunch of hilljacks.

The key to the game will be Chris Ogbannaya.

Or not.

Ha! Flipped over to the Chiefs game briefly, slight diff between the population of their stands vs Cleveland's.

Did the TV guys just say people here live for this weather?

Um, sorry dude, we more than welcome 50 degrees and sunshine on late Sundays in November, asshole.

Yeah, but you have to live in Florida. Give me shit weather over that any day.

Love how Jarvis Jones just pancaked Thomas.

True, I certainly prefer it to the dangle.

But the only thing I hate more than heat is humidity. I can bundle up and be comfortable at 20, but there's no fix for 90 and sweltering.

So far what I've learned most throughout today is that AJ Green is a pussy, Antonio Brown is much more difficult for Haden to handle than the more talented and way bigger Green.

This. As bad as Weeded is, there have been a lot of worse disasters than him, especially in relation to where they were picked in the 1st round.

On the Browns alone, Richardson and Quinn are equally as bad.

Oh Haden is better than good, he's a top 5-6 CB, I just think he is complacent at times with certain WRs, today looks like one of those days or Brown is just mentally and physically tougher than a lot of other WRs.

Pride injury for Campbell?

No trying to be a dick, but watch the replay, he didn't go down hard at all, not on his ribs either?

You could see this ass whooping coming with about 4 minutes left in the first half last week. Such shame we didn't get to see EXACTLY what we had with Hoyer THIS year.

That's what frustrates me looking ahead. I know we're drafting a QB, no doubt, but how will we manage that situation, will he be the type to throw into the fire, should we, do we want to, and all the while Hoyer will be there, and we will not know enough about him, so will we want/need to find out more for a few weeks, aka like this year?

If they draft a QB that they deem the eventual long term starter (read: 2015 at latest), then I'm fine with Hoyer at least starting next season.

If they forgo drafting a QB that can legit be considered 'franchise' to 'see what they have in Hoyer', fuck them.

Jesus. Just fucking cease operations already.
Bottom 4th: Cleveland
- J. Kipnis grounded out to shortstop
- A. Cabrera doubled to deep left
- N. Swisher doubled to center, A. Cabrera scored
- J. Giambi doubled to deep right center, N. Swisher to third, N. Swisher out at home
- J. Giambi caught stealing, catcher to third

No energy on either side of the ball. They played like a young team that'd joined 90% of its fanbase going all-in last Sunday.

Grumble.

I'm done. I'll be back next year but with an industrial sized bottle of lube so it won't hurt so bad.

Moving forward, why keep Weeden on the roster?

Seriously.

He's got nothing and you're going to cut him after the season anyway. He's got zero trade value (Honestly, his career probably is over after this season) and the rest of this campaign really should be a race to the bottom.

So, evaluate potential backups for next year.

We know we will have Hoyer, but Christ, you need more than two QBs anymore. So bring in any ol' QB. Hell, let's have a new QB every week!! That way we don't have a chance to hate or love somebody too much. If we're lucky, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville will accidentally win more games than us.

I still see no point to keeping Weeden on this roster for even one more hour. If it were me, I would've told him to clean out his locker after the game.

Yep, Good But Not Great Joe got toasted there.

Oh Haden is better than good, he's a top 5-6 CB, I just think he is complacent at times with certain WRs, today looks like one of those days or Brown is just mentally and physically tougher than a lot of other WRs.

It wasn't that long ago you called him over rated :hide:

Even in Pittsburgh's down year the Browns organization is their bitch.
Browns are an irrelevant and comical organization
