It is frustrating and Spiels was exactly right talking about the importance of blowouts.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

OK OK I heard the first time, lol.

You know what much of the rest of the nation will see from today, Braxton's fumble, the although predictable but TIPPED INT on the WR screen and they'll most certainly critique our speed, on this 33 degree snowy day.

Also interesting to note that 'Zona is shoving it right up Oregon's ass. Honestly, that is a good thing for OSU as there are several pollsters and computer polls that have OSU behind Oregon (somehow). I just like watching Oregon lose.

At what point does Oregon suffer blow back on its reputation for CONSTANTLY under achieving or just simply being over rated to some degree. They consistently lose they big match up each year, often OOC as well, and they've been ery underwhelming in the bowls, even against sloths like the 2009 Buckeyes. When does the voter nation look at them and say, their conference isn't world shattering and they just don't get it done. Is it because they are an OU and don't have the damned S in their name?

I don't know. I consistently get tricked by Oregon too because they always look so good at the beginning of the season. Hell, a month ago I was hoping OSU wouldn't play them, now I am hoping they don't because they aren't that fucking good. Arizona is beating the shit out of them on both sides of the ball.

Arizona should probably jump Ohio State because this is the most impressive win by any team in the country thus far. Think about it, Arizona is beating the 5th best team in the country by 26!

Surprised we aren't seeing Kenny. . It's Senior day and Braxton's already fallen on his head once.

I said it all along, Oregon is nothing but gimmicky flash and a smoke and mirrors team. I've said that since I saw Pryor running around, through, and stiff arming their midget defenders as they flailed about trying to get a 3rd down stop.

Every year they come in hilariously overrated, blow out some chumps, and POOF!..... they're the next evolutionary step in CFB.

Oregon and A&M losing. Baylor or Okie State going to lose tonight. All very good. If MSU can climb into the top ten by the B1G championship game, I think it will be a big help for the Buckeyes.

Two EXCELLENT throws by Miller.

Josh Perry has really improved. Look at how much better the Buckeyes are at the second level this week with Perry in the game.

Cam Burrows looking really good too.

That surprises me because I thought for sure he was going to end up as a safety. I would have called you crazy if you would've told me he was getting more PT at CB this year than Conley and Apple.

The future at CB is looking really bright.

20 tackles, 15 solo, and 5 TFL. Shazier ate his Wheaties today.

And they're already starting on the "style" narrative. Sheesh, up 42-0 in the 4th quarter, allow 2 garbage time TDs... and now the game was "debateable"?

Spielman is such a good guy and I hate to say it, but he is a HORRIBLE analyst. Like McCarver and Mowins bad.

These are the same people who are now humping the Baylor train. They all have a limp from jumping off the Oregon bandwagon.

At least he doesn't spend the entire broadcast smearing OSU like Griese last week.

I am a firm believer that what happens in a football game after a team goes up by 28 points really doesn't matter.

Nailed it.

I was going to go with "OSU prevails in sloppy game."

Of course the sloppy pertains to the weather, but you would have to read the article to see that.

For now ESPN isn't even touching a headline for the Buckeyes, Iowa and State dominate any Big Ten headlines ESPN has now. I'm fine with that. BUT FWIW, Arizona STUNS Oregon is the headline, OK yeah b/c it was an upset, but it wasn't a stun as much as it was a total ass beating.

ESPN - Columbus, OH
The Ohio State Buckeyes managed to hang on and survive a furious rally by Indiana University as the Hoosiers ran out of time Saturday...

Two ESPN headlines: "Ohio State rolls" and "Ohio State off to Big Ten title tilt". Lets see if they change...

Plus it was snowy and windy too.

Speaking of that, was Doran Grant really sitting on the bench because he was cold. That is not acceptable, dude.

Heard 3 different talking heads today mention how quietly the Big Ten looks to be the superior conference to the ACC, and only that butt fuck job in the ASU/Wiscy game really makes it close.

I only bring it up to shed light on just how quickly people jump onto and off of bandwagons and how much of a short term memory the sport tends to have, with exception to legacy votes and reps built on NCs (which is at least somewhat understandable).

I thought the announcers/side line reporter said he was not feeling well. He is from the Cleveland Area (SVSM) so its not like he is southern bitch.

Friendly fire from Shazier on the last play of the first half. If you have a chance to rewatch the game you'll see it pretty clearly. I was surprised they didn't mention it right away, and of course they didn't mention it when they showed him on the bench at the start of the 2nd half.

Lorain, Ohio's Anthony Hitchens with the strip on that play, which makes it even better. Good kid who I had a chance to cover during his high school career.
