The clinic ended a bit early. 23 turnovers. Hopefully they can survive.

Yeah, I'm a tad worried about Waiters' play so far this season as well

Kyrie hasn't looked too good either (for his standards). He's dribbling too much and trying to be too cute. There's a time and place for Uncle Drew, but I think he's doing it too much and not within the flow of the game.

This Mike Brown Offense looks all too familiar, substitute LeBron for Kyrie and the 4th qtr possesions were a ton of dribbling at the top of the key til the shot clock hit 10!

It's four games in and the roster/offense/rotations are brand new. Guys are getting used to each other's names and new locker locations much lessd where they're supposed to be on the floor.

But criticize at will. The second they hired Brown that die was cast.

I'd like for them to call a couple plays for Bennett in the next game. Maybe get him the ball down low, let him put his back to the basket and do something familiar.

As for the rest of the team, they're learning a brand new offense and a brand new defense, and I can pretty much guarantee the emphasis was on the defense in training camp. They'll be fine. In fact, 2-2 is a really good start considering who we've played so far.

Right hire. Opponents FG percentage....40, 45, 41, 36 percent in 4 games....no one's scored more than 94 points against them....opponents averaging 91 points. They've played more defense in 4 games than the entire Byron Scott tenure.

Fine with the hire. I understand why they did it and that they needed to instill that defensive mentality in the young 'uns..

But it's not too popular with the people looking for a reason to complain.

Well just looking at the games, you can see how much talent is on this team. Obviously, it's a lot of untapped potential, but this team is more talented than anything since the Daugherty era. And I think folks understand that most of guys are new, and the ones that were here are learning a whole new D-centric system. But, seeing Bynum back and the excitement that alone brings... it's a fun young team that is playing fairly well early. Let's see what happens.

Everyone expects contention for a low seed in the playoffs... sort of like the Tribe this year, except the Cavs have a much better shot of adding talent after this year. Let's enjoy the year for what it is supposed to be, a jump from perennial lottery to playoff contender.

I mostly didn't like the hire because of Brown's baggage, i.e. the fact that the implosion of the franchise happened on his watch and then his players walked all over him in LA too. Basketball wise, you could argue it both ways. But was I getting my hopes up to think that in the last three years, he may have come up with something different than the "stand around and watch LeBron" offense late in games?

We knew what we were getting with him with offense, but we all probably held out a little hope for SOME change. I will say this, if my mid to late season our offense is still meh (while having a stud PG like Kyrie) then it may very well speak volumes about Brown (and possibly debunk questions from Brown's first go around here that he O needed a PG and THAT it why is was such a bad O). The implosion stuff doesn't bother me b/c there was so much to it, and Brown got a raw deal in L.A.

5 games, dude.

5 games.

And Brown has been pretty up front from the get go that he installing his defense and very little time has been spent in offense so far. Work in progress, and if this in any way comes as a surprise in not sure what to tell you.

If by implosion you are referring to that time when the best player on the planet packed his bags a left his dysfunctional old ass team to go chase rings, I'm not sure how that comes down on Brown. I'll put that on Ferry and La Petit Douche.

And there's an exclusive club of coaches that Kobe wouldn't have walked all over in LA. That club has exactly one name on the list.

5 Games.

Fer fuk sake. Give it 20 games and see if it's better. If it ain't then bitch. Shit gets fixed in the gym during practice. Not on the floor against NBA athletes. And it ain't gonna fixed between games 6 and 7 when 7 is the night after 6. That's why counting games is useless. But 20 at least assumes a chunk of time.

I agree completely and that was my point.

My last post was just another example of me being hilarious. Those number too many to count.

Giving up 62.5% shooting at the half and getting out-rebounded 25 to 12.
