I feel really bad for the guy who sold it. It's clearly a fuckup. I might even be inclined to not take it and either work out a fair price or return it to the guy to sell again.

Only if it's just some schmuck selling it. If it's some kind of ticket outlet like Stubhub or Tickets Galore then tough shit.

Of course, if I'm honest, I'd probably just keep the $6 ticket. But since I'm not in that situation I can act like I'm one hell of a swell guy.

You're an idiot.

I'd sell it back to the guy for $400 and thn he could re-sell it for whatever he could get.

Consider it a dumbass tax.

Wow. You're a cold blooded heartless bastard, Peek. What if that guy was selling his ticket so that he could afford a new kidney for his grandma? What then? Did you even consider that?

Dick.

If grandma has a grandson dumb enough to make that kind of mistake then grandma's light should be snuffed out immediately and they should give the kidney to a fucking house cat. In fact they should cleanse the world of the entire stupid family.

I will give you this: it wouldn't be American or capitalistic to take advantage of someone else's error, carelesness, bad luck or stupidity to make oneself a buck. This country wasn't founded on such practices.

;-) ;)

I was gonna make fun of the guy by sarcastically commenting on how he paid 100% in taxes and fees.....and then I realized we're all about two years away from that ratio on regularly priced seats.
