Lurk some Inbred Boards.

Combination of whistling in the graveyard about hoe "They'll be back and everyone is in fear of that" and fading arrogance.

They have moved into "bargaining" stage.

I don't feel safe dancing on their graves yet.

For some reason just as I think they're dead, they find some way to luck into some wins, and make it to a super bowl.

I have not seen a lot of Steeler gear in my neck of the woods though, which is always a great thing.

I do.

They are the 90 Browns.

They're cooked. Bad, bad football team of old players and bad draft choices suffering a little bad luck badly coached.

They are what they appear to be.

Steelers fans in Youngstown have all but gone the way of the Dodo. I don't see anywhere NEAR the Steelers garb I usually see, especially in-season.

I keep asking where they all went and get nothing but mutterings and "six rings, asshole."

I lived in Boardman for a year 2001/02...I thought there was way more Steelers shit than Browns shit around.

If they went into hiding I'm surprised by that. I figured they'd love any reason to throw their SBs in someone's face who dared give them shit on a down year.

As a Pa resident who only lives like 10 mins from Ytown I can tell you that all them Steeler fans have nothing to say and are all currently wearing their brand new McCutchen Jerseys, saying its still baseball season! Once the Pirates lose (hopefully today) they'll be busting out their Pens Gear saying its Hockey season. The Pirates being good is really what is covering the stench of this steelers start. But Hey atleast I dont have to see and hear about the Steelers, I'm happy for that. But God if they stink all year and Beat us, thats my fear

Given the current state of affairs, I'd still bet they finish with no worse a record than the Browns do this season.

Just sayin'...

There is still slightly more Steeler merchandise in stores and at the mall, but you see less people wearing it. As previously mentioned, you see more Buccos/Pens gear nowadays.

It's about to be exclusively Pens gear. Wainwright is seeing to that.
