It is?

Methinks it much more likely Weeds starts the rest of the year than any other option. Doesn't matter what we think.

Just too much hyperbole and use of absolutes regarding the QB position nowadays (and I've been as guilty as any).

If he's not dead he's the guy.

But I took SSS to mean he might be killed by the Lions or fragged by his teammates ;-) ;)

I did too, and I'm sure some of us hope it happens, but it's still much more likely that he survives the game and plays the next one after that.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.

So, Matt Flynn anyone? How much of his contract would Trey be on the books for?

Maybe the Browns should hire FMB as a consultant. Teach em he secrets of fragging. I'm sure he only heard of 'em.

Sea Scags are playing for a SB. having a competent back up who can win games is a must for a team like that. And QB's that take off on designed runs, not scrambles like Hoyer and manuel, get hurt all the time. Ask Peeker.

EDIT - I think he's so forgettable I forgot he was cut by the Raiders.

Meh.
Meh.
Meh.

Still, given the Lion's DL history in the scintillating battles for the Great Lakes Trophy and Schwartz struggles Weed's life expectancy may warrant this signing.

All I know is that if you look at the QB injuries thus far this season, the vast majority ain't coming from QB getting hit in the pocket or from the blindside.

Vick on a run, RG3 last year, Pryor on a run, Hoyer, Manuel, etc. Kaepernik's running has been lessened this season, Wilson is going to get broken in half at some point...

Locker, though, was hurt in the pocket, if I recall correctly.

Meh... I have no interest in Flynn either way.

I just hope Chud puts in a huge number of ZR plays for Weeden this weekend. That I'l watch gleefully.

I think the $64,000 question is if Flynn > Weeden. Next year is Hoyer and potential draft pick, I just want to keep some momentum going this year instead of watching Weeden waste games counting to five-Mississippi.

Imagine that dolt holding the ball until he spelled Mississippi.

Feel better?

right.

I mean..I've seen how this idiot holds onto the ball, and stares down recievers.

That's just going to be a recipe for diaster. But..it's his job at the moment.

We all known that by this time next year he's not going to be on the roster.
