But on a serious note if they can just stay the team they were all year and beat the bad team this weekend, they have a golden shot with everybody playing each other.

Also I cant believe Im typing this but Ubaldo or Masterson in the potential WC play in game......God I feel Dirty. Never seen a pitcher so lost as Ubaldo get so lucky for such a stretch then start dominating with Junk and the magical reappearence of control

Anyone else notice a loss in feed quality when our game is "the free game of the day?" Or am I just high?

I hope I'm not the only one listening right now that isn't seriously concerned that both of our runs so far (bottom of 4th) are the result NOT of our Tribe batting well but because of the 'Stros crappy fielding. ::doh::

There is a reason why they are the worst team in baseball.

There is a reason why they are the worst team in baseball.

Since Houston is the worse team, the Tribe should be running roughshod all over them! If the Tribe does get into the playoffs I'm afraid it will be purely accidental!

Love the narratives popping up about how quick the game was called and how the Rays/Indians game went til 3 am. It's going to rain all night long here. Game was already official. Rays game wasn't even close to official and Rays didn't come back. No matching off days between the teams.

But, yes, the fix is in.

Houston has been giving teams fits all year, they've been in a lot of close games, even with Oakland, Texas, and Anaheim, who it seems like they were playing alllll the time.

Psst.
I was hoping to report on a Tampa Bay final score (hopefully a loss) before I went to bed. But its now 2AM, its the 18th inning and its still Balt 4 - TB 4. There have been 21 total pitchers so far that have climbed onto the mound so far. Ugh! Cmon, Baltimore!

TB won in the bottom of the 18th. Two games for the price of one...and they play again at 1:00PM?!?

Tribe has 8 games left against the Astros, White Sox and Twins.

Rays have 9 games left against the Orioles, Yankees, and Blue Jays. We're a half game behind them.

Barring an epic choke, I like our chances.

Texas has an easier schedule than the Rays, but we're a half-game ahead of them.

Last night's suspended game victory was the first for the Indians since July 23, 2010. Last one before that was July 18, 2005. Indians had two in 2001, June 1 and June 21.

And ya gotta like how our offense is peaking at just the right time as well! That's enough to make it stressful the rest of the way through! But I agree, we are clearly in the driver's seat... its all on us.
