Adam Schefter reports #Browns have traded Trent Richardson to the Colts for a 1st round pick. Wow!

The season is OVER.

Let the out sucking of the Jaguars begin.

Question - What does the NFL do if they feel like the Browns are purposely tanking?

The most hilarious thing ever would be the Browns being penalized the 1st round pick they tanked for.

BTW - this was a brilliant move. Richardson is average, and you get a 1st round pick for him to help you in the future while you suck right now.

Heard MacGahee is taking physical to become the new starting RB. Funny thing is he might be every bit as effective. For free.

The Browns haven't used a high extra pick they collected via trade well ever.

But that's not why I called, I just am waiting to see what bunch of bald inspired venom Peeker has re: Walrus.

Well, I clearly remember some guys being edging thrilled with ging up to get TRich ( THEY WANTED HIM!!!!) and Weeds. So I'm just gonna sit back and watch for a few days. And enjoy the back pedaling and rationalization.

Go at it, boys!

Enjoy!!!

This really is the most Borwns situation ever.

Just say to yourself, last year the Browns traded up one spot to #3 overall to draft T-Rich and then the next year he went for a 1st round pick in the 20s.

He'll throw to Gordon 12 games a year, and he'll throw to Little, not sure who is going to catch it, but he'll throw it there.

What are the 4 most important positions on the football field today?

Let's assume the OL is one position as a whole.

They can and must if a QB with even a 5% chance to be franchise level is on the board.

We already have one of the best defensive fronts in the NFL, and it turns out that no position matters except the one that throws the ball.

This is as simple as it gets. The hard part is figuring out which college QB is actually good. Cause I sure as hell don't know. And neither has anyone drafting for the Browns.

Seriously? The hard part is figuring out which college QB is good? That isn't the hard part, Teddy B. Simple.

For the first time ever it looks like he is actually a possibility too.

Of course, only the Borwns would finally manage to grab the #1 pick in a year where there are multiple high end QB prospects available.

And Clowney is very good, but once in a generation? I dunnno.

I still think the Jags could out-tank us.

This tank job is to guarantee a Top 3 pick, not necessarily a #1 overall pick, since you can't be too blatantly obvious about it or risk Goodell doing something rash.

A Clowny would be nice for sure, but you can accomplish most of what he does with a unit, and one that has depth. We're almost there already. Not the biggest need by any means.

In fact I think we get more college games screened here than NFL

Oh and how many times have you watched Boyd, Hundley, and Bridgewater (the unanimous #1 QB prospect) play?

I'm not sure how good the Colts are. This is a team that had to come from behind to beat the Terelle Pryor Raiders in his first NFL start then lost to the same Dolphins team at home that the Browns lost to also. They are not far from losing two straight at home to start the season. I think this is a potential top 10 pick and at worst 15.

Thanks, xoxo.

I do watch it. They have it on sports channels over here. I watched the Oregon - Tenn (on delay) game and the OSU game.
In fact I think we get more college games screened here than NFL

Thanks

Oh and how many times have you watched Boyd, Hundley, and Bridgewater (the unanimous #1 QB prospect) play?

This is what, your second time ever seeing Marriota? First?

Why are you giving me grief? Because I don't post in CFB, so you assume my knowledge is minimal? I play the sport at uni and I probably see more college games than you. It's like that when you are not surrounded by the sport 24 hours a day and taking the sport for granted, you end up watching every minute available to you, whether on TV or on online streams.

1. TEDDY BRIDGEWATER
2. Marcus Mariota
That is all.
Call me in April.

P.S. For the record, T Rich (barring injury) will kick ass with the Colts.

Because literally only someone that doesn't watch college football would be dumb enough to say Marriota is the top QB in the draft. He's at the very best the third and Scouts, fans and well everyone else agrees.

And, frankly, I'm sick of people like you just running around and typing the name of the most recent player they saw and acting like it is analysis. It's bullshit and you are in the same boat as the Manziel fans.

PS: dodging the question and saying "I PLAY THE SPORTS AND WATCH IT I SWEAR!!!" is a clear indication of pulling shit out of your ass.

Also, I don't know what team you guys have been watching, but I don't hear of T-Rich's departure and think, "Oh noez, how are we going to score points NOW?!?!"

I don't think this is a tank move. I think it's more like switching to Timmuh in '99 after getting blasted in the opening game--an acceptance of what we are, and going from there. We were already going to be bad enough to be in position for one of Bridgewater, Mariota, Hundley, or Boyd. We just sold high on a dud from the last regime to get our next QB someone worth throwing to.

Despite the push to run the spread in the new NFL McCarron actually fits a Norv's O pretty damn well.

It's a scary thought but I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him as the #2 or #3 QB on the Borwns board.

And this is less about how is the team going to score points and more about at least teams were crowding the box because T-Rich had a good name (which is better than anyone else). Now teams are just going to drop everyone into coverage which is going to make The Ginger look even worse.

Not that I've watched the Borwns yet this year, but when RBs get traded for first round picks their "name" still has value.
