Giambi with the 2-0 count GIDP on what would've been ball 3 to end the frame..... had a chance at a real crooked number.

Yeah, but it's not like Mendoza had been all over the place wild and just walked/plunked in 2 free runs or anything.

Yeah, I mean any time you can knock the SP out early and see a pitch in the dirt you pretty much have to swing at it. I just hope Mendoza doesn't settle down.

Well that was quick. Those two GIDP balls really hurt right now.

How close was Brantley to either of those bloops to LCF? Rosie made it seem like he had a chance off the bat for both of them, but obviously hard to tell when you can't watch.

Unfortunately Kluber seems to do it quite often. If he ever figures out how to avoid the big inning he could be something special. l

Meh, a dive would have made it close but both would have still fallen in. The fact that both were broken bat singles was more important. Both just barely lost enough steam and fell in.

Am I terrible person if I hoped that ball that hit Reynolds in the head put him on the DL with a very, very mild concussion? Yeah. Probably.

Great stab by Kip there. Something is still wrong with Vinnie. He may need to be shut down for a couple weeks to heal.

How I imagine you watching every game when things go the way of the other team

Galley Boys are slop on top of a so-so burger and a bun you coulde get from a Covneninet food mart generic pack. They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base. Proof that if you throw enough cheap sauce shit on a burger you still can't overcome the lame burger. -JB

Tito handled the 6th inning beautifully last night.

Kluber had the meltdown in the 6th in Baltimore and Tito was proactive before history could repeat itself. Although Hagadone doesn't inspire confidence he did the job as did Allen. Tito rolled the dice that those 2 could get it done because it wasn't like Kluber was weaving in and out of traffic all night. Outside of the Gordon bomb, the Royals were flailing.

Francona also was banking on the Tribe coming through with some runs in the top of the next inning so he could go to the bullpen holy trinity. They did and it set the rest of the game up.

Good, solid managing.

Also, I have been bangin on Swisher pretty good lately even calling for a move down the lineup, but the guy has been solid the last several games. If he can keep it going the lineup becomes that much more dangerous in the middle.

Guys with a track record of .275/25/90 are typically gonna get to .275/25/90 with some minor variances here and there.

The guy who ain't doing shit is Reynolds.

Gonna need to heat up to get where he usually gets. If he does it'll be fun to watch. And I'm talking HRs and RBI. The average and the K's are right in line. As is his frying pan defense. I'll say it again: playoff teams like the O's don't just let good offensive players go for $7million even if they do have Davis and Machado.
