Showing Trevor Bauer's postgame interview on STO. Little abrasive with the media. Seems thoroughly annoyed with their questions.

And they're off! Looks like they've got about 2 1/2 to 3 hours before the next wave of storms hit. Just in time to stop it for an hour around midnight.

Interesting. Walcott, who was the 1B ump in the first game, was skipped behind the plate and moved to 3B.

Only 12 runs to go to tie the AL record. They are on pace to score 40.

They asked four different times about pitching from the stretch, wording the question about the same each time. They asked him what happened and he says, "The pitches I made got hit."

It's not arrogance or a cocky attitude. I'm not sure what I'd call it. Not even sure I'd call it condescending. He just beats to the sound of a very different drum.

Indians got to town around 3 a.m. Not surprised that they're dragging. Gotta dig deep.

I hope they don't do a random urinalysis after this game , because I fear a player or two may be violating the amphetamine policy

Just goes to show. Bauer might have looked a little shaky out there, but the dude is a winner who knows how to get the job done. All that matters is the W. Felix Hernandez would to well to pay attention.

It's about time for Carrasco to drill someone.
Bottom 4th: Cleveland
- J. Kipnis grounded out to shortstop
- A. Cabrera doubled to deep left
- N. Swisher doubled to center, A. Cabrera scored
- J. Giambi doubled to deep right center, N. Swisher to third, N. Swisher out at home
- J. Giambi caught stealing, catcher to third

1 run, 3 hits, 0 errors

Francona gives Carrasco a chance to prove something. Unfortunate result, and I don't like the decision, but I know why he did it. May backfire in a huge way, though.

Agree, but with the Tigers winning, we have a chance to pick up half a game. Still, it was good for him to pitch tired and get an out.

Seriously, Rich? Throw Dunn a fastball in the other batter's box and then go back to that pitch. And throw a better one.

Reynolds was safe, but why he didn't shorten up his lead after the close play right before that is mind-blowing.

Brantley just out in front. Couple tough breaks.

Heart.

Beat the umpires, beat lady luck (De Aza 2B just inside line, Brantley HR just foul, etc), and beat fatigue.

What a great win.

Gotta love it when you sweep a doubleheader started by Bauer and Carrasco and they combine for 11 runs in 6.1 innings of work.

They desperately need a huge effort from Ubaldo tomorrow.

Pretty sure my neighbors heard me yell "Swish!" when we went ahead in the 9th! And all our windows are closed, running the AC. Most neighbors have window units so they can't even hear themselves think. Is this team fun right now or not? Damned straight! So far this is shaping up to be a MUCH better road trip than the last one. :woot:

Can't wait to hear the Hammy call on that one. Followed by the Hawk call. Or maybe the other way round.

That has to be the best DH ever. Entertaining from inning 1 to 18

Have you found this anywhere? Looked for the same thing earlier this morning.
Playing here is the closest thing to heaven. Really, I mean it's amazing to be in a place where the fans truly cherish their football team and stick behind them win or lose. We players love them, too. I feel a sense of accomplishment playing here, we are a special breed of football players with a great opportunity." ~ tOSU LB Brian Rolle
