Hearing stronger indications that Cleveland likes Maryland's Alex Len with the No. 1 pick.

Noel has the size, the defense, and the analytics. Len has the morass of GMs like Presti desperately seeking him and as worried as we are at Grant's poker face.

Not panicking until I hear David Stern make it official.

I'm not panicking about any pick. They all seem to have equal question marks and remain an unimpressive bunch.

While true, after Thompson and Waiters I just cannot drum up the outrage over the NBA careers of these guys on Drft Day.

Drummond is the first case I can remember of a player not caring in college and genuinely looking like he would rather be anywhere but on the basketball court all of the sudden caring in the pros. He's the rarest of prospects. Dude literally didn't give two fucks in college and all of the sudden decided to use all of his skill once the shit ass Pistons drafted him?

That still confuses me.

And the fact that something as absurd as that happened or Tristan Fucking Thompson somehow learned a fairly effective push shot gives me a small bit of hope for Len. Miracles do happen and we've seen two involving bigs in the Central Division in the last year.

At least Kanter will finally be unleashed next year after the Jazz let Milsap and Big Al walk. The Kanter and Favors era should be pretty sweet in Utah, both looked sick in limited minutes last year.

So whoever reported they want Len was wrong.

To get too bent outta shape by thus pick is absurd. Two teams pass on Noel and there just was not the talent differential to flame the pick...

(granted, the Bobcats couldn't draft Noel with Biyombo already at PF, as you couldn't play those two together)

Orlando has a great young center, Washington has a bunch of expensive and unmovable centers and Charlotte couldn't play him with Biyombo.

This drop was easy to see coming if the Cavs passed.

If I had to bet that's where I think he'll start out. That's if this roster isn't completely turned upside down in the next few hours/days/weeks. Not saying it will be pretty or work, but he may be the most gifted offensive talent in the draft.

Interesting pick.

Maybe getting Kyrie a pick & roll mate was the most win-nowiest selection of them all?

I know that earlier today Orlando was rumored to want Noel if Cavs took Len.

Suns might take McLemore, and NO and DET prolly can fit Noel either. SAC? Noel and Cousins is a pretty fucking formidable front court.

I mean the reports are the Mike "defense first" Brown absolutely loves Bennet. We'll see if he can coach him.

Kind of funny after Scott is reported as the main reason they took Waiters last year they took Brown's guy this year.

Then you clearly never watched him play. He can't guard threes. Unless Brown pulls some voodoo magic.
