I still think it should be Noel.

But it will probably be Oladipo or a trade.

I remain consistent since the day they hired a Ukrane special asst coach for the bigs after winning the lotto.

It'll be Len.

It SHOULD be Noel.

BTW - The thread title & poll question are different. 'sayin'.

I agree with this. Makes the most sense in terms of what Cavs have done as opposed to what they've said and will continue to say.

ETA- Really hoping that Len learns all he can from NBA legend Potapenko. :thumb up:

I love when people tell me how we "passed" on Kobe for him...

1) Noel
2) Oladipo
3) Trade - trade anywhere from 1-3 depending on what is offered.

Tonight will be a view in to whether they feel they need to win now to keep KI or if they can continue to build a team slowly through the draft.

I know. I changed it after I first created it. At first, I asked "what will the cavs do," then I changed it to "what should the cavs do." I wanted TCF GM's opinions. I almost made two polls for each question.

Quite obvious that if Noel is not the pick, there's going to be some holy hell raised on these boards. I can't wait!

Len's the safer pick but I think they go with Noel. I think in the end the same computational statistical blah analytics model thing they're using tells them Noel is the guy most capable of being an impact player on a contending team that has Kyrie running point. McClemore is the only other guy the analytics say should make an impact but no way are the 'good guys' Cavs FO with Mike Brown going to go for his shenanigans.

I think the Porter/Olandipo/Len safe pick talk flies in the face of what they've done the last couple years.

I'd take Len, they'll take Noel, but I'm not gonna ledge on any of the picks.

McLemore comes out pretty terribly when using most analytical measures. And I have no idea what shenanigans you are talking about. All accounts I have seen have said that he is a really nice kid (Ford called him sweet and naive) that just hasn't been ready for the draft process because he wasn't mentally prepared for it.

Yeah, after Noel Porter is the darling of most all analytics.

Who the hell guessed Bennett? Or was that after the fact?
