6 runs on 2 hits for the Tribe in the first.... gotta love that!

Now for Kluber to put up some zeroes.

Kluber's fooling no-one tonight.

I don't think any of this is Sanatana's fault, but I'm surprised Gomes isn't catching Kluber tonight after he caught his last two starts.

It looked like he was throwing 95-97 last time, even in the 8th inning. Is it the gun or did he lose some velocity? I imagine if you throw 8 innings two games in a row, you might be a little worn out and not have your good stuff the next time out.

For a guy who is perceived to have such a good approach at the plate, Brantley hits more ground balls to 2B than anyone else in the entire world!

Meanwhile it's taken 2 hours and 15 mins to get through 5 innings..... You don't mind though when you're on the right side of it.

Who know's.... there's been no-one around for the last few days it seems.... the apathy towards this club is pretty evident.

They're fun to watch when they're hitting a bit, and I like their pitching right now other than Ubaldo...even if he's pitching ok once in a while. It's not fun going through those bad streaks, but right now they're winning and hitting so I'm fine with that.

I'm more worried about their bullpen than any other part of the team right now.

I've been listening every night. It's just that the last time a thread was started was the last time we didn't win. If we don't keep this so-far three-game run going I'm personally holding B-P responsible. ;-) ;)

You're right. I've been missing the threads, but I didn't want to start one because we might lose...at least someone else would get the blame... :hide:

When Matt Lawton was here, I couldn't believe how many grounders to second he would hit...then Victor Martinez would go through similar bouts where he hit tons of grounders to second. But Brantley has absolutely taken the 4-3 to a new level. He is the champion in my book.
Bottom 4th: Cleveland
- J. Kipnis grounded out to shortstop
- A. Cabrera doubled to deep left
- N. Swisher doubled to center, A. Cabrera scored
- J. Giambi doubled to deep right center, N. Swisher to third, N. Swisher out at home
- J. Giambi caught stealing, catcher to third

1 run, 3 hits, 0 errors

I never thought that our bullpen would be such a weak spot.

Wow.... the boys made hard work of that one.

Odd that Albers was warming in the 9th and not Smith.

I'm around, but I can't take the game threads anymore. Not a whole lot of value to them.

I DVR the games and watch them later, thus avoiding having to watch an hour's worth of commercials. And they're always the same ones, game after game.

Also, by not commenting on the game in progress I avoid embarassing myself by saying things like "Here comes Rich "Gas Can" HIll", right before he strikes out Joe Mauer with two on and two out. Which is exactly what I would have said had I been posting.

Eight wins in the last ten games. Wish we could play the Nationals, Royals and Twins all year. Considering that Cabrera, Perez, Swisher, and McAllister are out with injuries, Francona has the boys playing really well. Although last night it was more like the Twins handing us a win because their starter couldn't find home plate.

This has nothing to do with anything, but did anyone catch Scott Kazmir Friday night during his post-game interview? That t-shirt was fucking bonkers. Butterflies and hummingbirds and shit. I want to tweet @Indians to see if there's a story behind it.
