I can't believe he was only 51.

That means he was playing Tony Soprano when he was younger than I am now. Which is kind of weird.

On a (un)related note, Vince Flynn died this morning as well.

That fucking blows. I loved the Mitch Rapp series. Except for the ones where the dumb broad ruined them.

More bummed about that than the Gandolfini news.

Sad to hear. Tony Soprano was one of the most iconic TV characters of my lifetime. Loved that show and I was still holding out hope that somewhere down the road a Sopranos movie would be made.

The Last Castle is about the only thing I've ever seen Gandolfini in. Never watched the Sopranos, but he was great in The Last Castle.

Seems like a lot of notable (sort of) deaths over the last few days.

He had a great role in True Romance. People should check that movie out just for the dialogue between Gary Oldman and Christian Slater, and the FUCKING EPIC scene with Dennis Hopper and Christoper Walken.
