1. 4,000 doesn't seem like much of a thing anymore. He damn near did it last year. Over.

2. Career or season? Either way...under.

3. I was going to put 12 Monkeys, but that's pretty obvious, so my inclination was to go with coincidentally another Gilliam flick...Time Bandits. It doesn't hold up as well as some of his others, but damn did I love that movie when I was a kid.

4. Because Sixth Sense. It wasn't just good, it was a transcendent game changer. Say what you want about MKS now, that movie alone puts him in rare company among directors. Signs was good and, even though it took 5 years, people eventually realized how great Unbreakable was. He might deliver shit sandwich after shit sandwich now, but you can't deny the guy's historical resume unless you have an agenda. So, he will always get more flicks to try to regain that magic. And to tell the truth, if I was some bigshot Hollywood producer, I'm not sure I wouldn't roll the dice on that guy a few times. You never know.

5. Foot. Clearly

1. Over
2. Over
3. Time After Time
4. See MoScratcher's response
5. Foot but it's close. Racquetball would be mutha w/a prosthetic foot and you only need one hand to swing, shoot, type, etc. But I'd still go with the foot.

Preferably FUDU's foot, really, since he wants his so bad.

You people saying foot instead of hand need to hang out in the rehabilitation center at a VA clinic for a day. Even with one of those high end space age metal prosthetic's, putting the weight of your entire body on a stump and one leg all day can be excruciating.

Who stands all day? Between work, driving, watching TV, I'd have to think I spent 75% of my time sitting.

Dude ran in the Olympics with a prosthetic leg. Saw a guy just yesterday that walked/stood completely normally before noticing that he had one of those foot contraptions. The days of wooden legs are long gone.

Besides, losing a hand much more impairs my ability to work than losing a foot. Not to mention other activities I like to do. I don't think it's even close.

2) Over. Ditto.

3) "Terminator 2: Judgement Day"

4) M. Night has nowhere to go but up. Just not this time...

5) Foot. When I think about losing a hand (which, thank goodness, only happens on 5 Question Friday), poor Chubbs from "Happy Gilmore" comes to mind.

The physical therapy involved to learn to use those prosthetic feet/legs is far more demanding then the hand prosthesis's.

That being said , after thinking about it some I guess it would depend on which hand. I am right handed , so in the battle of left hand vs any foot, I am saying good by to old lefty. But when it comes to the right hand yeah , then Id be hard press not to choose foot.

Also the method of how I lost the limb would play into it, allot more muscle, bone and nerve to cut through when your taking off a foot.

In my field I could still work in a wheelchair, but need both hands. Also there's typing and working on stuff and making food.

And besides that I've been married 26 years, without hands I have no sex life.

Alex Zanardi lost both legs in an IndyCar crash. He's still driving race cars and winning, and won metals in the paralympics. An inspiration.

I can't believe 5QF is being sullied by being in the forum for the dirtbag Browns.

BUT OF COURSE I WILL ANSWER YOUR WONDERFUL QUESTIONS, HIKO. YOU ARE JUST DELIGHTFUL. IT'S 4:52 AM.

1. Under. Unless our WRs have hands on their feet.

2. Under. Unless he can stay healthy.

3. Back to the Future. NEVER trust those goddamn Libyans.

4. How is Michael Bay still directing films? That's the bigger question.

5. I find the circumstances under which I would lose said hand or foot to be much more important than then part itself. But since you could not be bothered by challenging the readers with interesting scenarios were they would have to make a possible life altering choice, "hand or foot?"..... i'll say foot.

1. Under, I don't think he lasts the season.

2. Under, I don't think he lasts eight games.

3. Back to the Future III (Yes, the third. I'm a sucker for Clint Eastwood Jokes)

4. Shyamalan's method of getting jobs probably is best left as a mystery.

5. Considering I'm a Game of Thrones fan, I'm not sure there is a good answer to this question.

His movies make money. I hate the guy as much as you do - more, probably, from personal experience - but his movies keep pulling in the unwashed masses.

M-Night? His flicks not only suck but they bomb too. I've seen directors blacklisted for much much less, yet he keeps pulling films with $130 million budgets despite the likelihood that it will suck AND lose money.

Ryan Leaf probably had one good game too.

Truth is, you're probably right about Back to the Future. It's hard to argue that anything is better than that. 12 Monkeys is probably the only thing that could enter the discussion, and which flick you prefer probably depends on you r age and worldview.

5) Foot. Alex Zanardi can still drive a race car with no legs. Chubbs can't golf without a hand.
