LeBatard & Bomani Jones

Best radio ever.

Two of the smartest dudes in sports and great together. On the radio side, throw in Stugots and it's gold and on TV it's the same thing throwing in LeBatatrd's old man.

Yeah... Bomani Jones on Twitter I hate to death, but paired with LeBatard I can't get enough.

LeBatard has a weird sense of humor, which I like. Jones is aight, tries to be Mr. Smooth too much.

LeBatard radio show outta Miami has no sports equal. Bomani Thursday regular, Stan Van Gundy in the whole show on Wednesdays, Kurchan covering baseball. Just fantastic. Also got a guy from Zoo Miami in for a segment of Tuesdays which is fantastic, can't really explain it, you just gotta listen.

Now that ESPN paid BIG dollars to stop Bomani from ending up at Fox Sports 1 (he's one of the few people Fox didn't outbid ESPN on and apparently he had a deal with Fox in place before ESPN opened the vault) I expect his radio show presence with LeBatard to grow a lot more. They just moved him to Miami for the daily TV show but they are paying him too much for that to be it. And since ESPN paid all that money for sole rights for his media work they're going to find ways to expand his roll. My guess is the TV show is a segue to a near full partnership between him and LeBatard.

Bomani has always been my favorite radio guy and I've always like LeBatard so obviously I'm on board.

BTW: Fox Sports 1 next year is a game-changer. ESPN will have real competition finally. Their opening by going straight after Sportscenter.

I've been DVRing this show on ESPN2 every day and no joke, I never, ever laugh as hard at anything as I do this.

Just great, great, great sports TV. The best of it's type on TV by far.

Can't blame him. You'd have to open the vault for me to move to Miami.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.

I kid you not - I have not missed a single show in about 3 years. There are times when I fall behind by a week or so, but I make sure I catch up.

Contrast to the fact I couldn't have a local radio show on longer than 10 minutes without something causing me to turn it off.

Put it this way, there's nobody yelling wwwhhheeeeeeeee on that station.

If you haven't given Three Deep a fair shake, it's your loss.

Well Pipe, don't forget, I am the only person here that listened to Bomani every single day for two years when he was doing radio in CANADA.

The thing about the show is you have Dan, being Dan, Papi being Papi and Bomani's face when Papi does Papi.
