Gomes just misses knocking one to the wall but Bourn comes through next up to tie it.

Chance for Kipper to put us in front.

Need a big two out hit here from Brants.

Got Verlander over 50 pitches, so really need to make it count.

Jimenez has got nothing tonight.

We don't cash in bot 2nd and then Ubaldo gives up 3 in the 3rd.

Let's hope the heavens open before 5 complete and this game is a rainout.... we get to forget everything we've seen then.

No reason not to leave Huff out to dry the rest of the way now.... he's getting DFA'd after the game in any case..... no sense burning Shaw or anyone else for that matter for tomorrows game.

And as soon as we sort of get back in the game with a 3-spot, the heavens open.

I would not be unhappy if it just rained the rest of the night and they called this one.... not an official game so nothing would count.

I thought they changed that rule so that no matter what they play every inning? Or is that just playoffs?

Yan needs to play at least 4 times a week. Giambi, less.

/FTR - I still think Giambi belongs on this team.

And we're back just before midnight. Hope you guys are ready for another 2-3 games like this with delays. We're expecting crap weather up here for the next two or three days. Starting to grow gills...

That was the oddest play I've seen by an outfielder since the HR off Conseco's fat head.

Two bright spots today. Scored five off of Verlander and David Huff got DFA'd.

Well he is throwing more strikes earlier in the count. It's just too bad the Tigers were peppering those strikes all over the ballpark.

They the Antoine Joubert of burgers; soft, sloppy, oozing grease and cheap sauce and extremely overrated by a biased fan base.
