Home for my first Tribe game in 5 years.

Unread postby furls » Fri May 17, 2013 8:32 am

I am going to be back in Cleveland for the first time in five years from 28 June to 7 July. During that period I am going to try to take in a Tribe game (only series is a weekend against the Tigers). Any suggestions for days that would be better than others because of promotions, discounts, events or anything cool like that?

I haven't been to the Jake since '08 so I am sure some things have changed. Looking for any advice you guys can provide.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.

You can see the promotional schedule here

Friday night is Dollar Dog Night and Fireworks

Saturday is 1904 Replica cap giveaway

Sunday is kids fun day

I'm no expert but, Dollar Dogs and Fireworks would make the decision for me.

Get tickets early. They charge more day of game and a lot of the more attractive areas (by price) to sit tend to go quickly.

To daz's point, the giveaway hats always suck.
