Thanks Daz. And I'll use your notes Sunday 3Pods if we win (In-sha Allah). Starting this one early 'cause I'll likely be asleep at 1st pitch. :hic:

Here we go.

I haven't seen Correia pitch this year but, looking at the numbers you have to think his ERA might be more smoke and mirrors than talent.

More fly balls than ground balls and only 15Ks in 36IP.... that's a lot of balls in the air not finding grass - not sure how long that can continue.

Well, that's two more fly balls from Correia that didn't find grass - they found the seats!!

Methinks the smoke is from the fireworks at the Jake today. ;-) ;)

Was no-one watching today?!

I watched the first 5 innings live, went out and just caught up with the final 4 innings on delay..... we won again!

Shame Carrera overslid the bag in the 8th..... would've been nice to see Kip have 1AB to try and hit for the cycle.

Kazmir was impressive - good velocity up to 94 and a sharp breaker. Again, too any pitches, but it's progress.

Rosie was calling the game from my front porch while I worked in our very neglected garden. Oh am I out of shape! But at least the Tribe is shaping up!

I was there, so no in-game thoughts from me. Correia was due for some regression, but he still didn't pitch bad. Three of his first four starts were at home in the bitter cold. Another was the second day after the Rangers had an all night cross-country flight to St. Paul. The other start was at KC and he gave up 3 runs on 8 hits over 7.

I like Kazmir. A few too many pitches, but that slider is lethal against lefties and if he's able to touch 93-94 with the fastball like he did today, he's got a chance to be a pretty good #5 for us.

Too nice of a day to stay inside and watch TV. Sounds like Kazmir is continuing to come back and the bats are still producing.
