I don't believe he even exists in real life. I think he's just the spirit of hate on the internet. Somehow that essence became self aware and now resides here.

He's kinda like the goo from Ghostbusters 2.

I'm busy this week. Very busy. I'll return to telling you all to fuck off regularly after 4/15. In the mean time enjoy your circle jerk about a bunch of fucking books in a thread about a TV show.

First Caesar, now Brutus. Are Pullo and Vorenus going to show up too? Dany is totally going to take Astapor with her Unsullied, that douche is going to have a dragon for about 15 minutes.

Then they cut old boy's hand off. Did not see that coming.

Pullo would be good as a couple of people that are yet to appear onscreed. Vorenus too. Took me a second to remember where I knew Brutus aka Edmure from.

My favorite non fight scene of any season happened when Pod returned from the brothel and had Bronn and Tyrion absolutely stunned by his first time.

I really want to find out Dany understood every word he said since she speaks Dothraki. And I have no spoiler from the book for this because I read Book 3 back in 2004 and I don't remember that specific plot point.

Oh good, now I have to tell the difference between two related fictional languages. Are there any up coming Westerosi cooking classes I need to be aware of? What about the art of Dothraki knitting, does that come up?

Is there a final exam after this season? If I don't pass does that mean i'm forbidden from watching season 4?

More like "world the books and show take place in compared to culture and places in ancient/medieval times" that will have no impact on your viewing.

The only thing that impacts your viewing would be that the slaver dude is speaking a different language from Dothraki, so she doesn't understand what he's saying (though I think she gets the gist of it).

As you follow the books you go from hating him to kind of liking the guy, and his character DOES get some of the best one-liners next to The Imp.

Not a bad guess tho.

It's been a while since I read the books too and I don't remember her ability/inability to speak Valyrian coming into play. Could be faulty memory, or could be a show re-write. Either way, she was badass in that scene.

Liked Selmy giving Mormont the look at the end "Oh yeah, looks like I'll be back in the Kingsguard soon."

I'm pretty sure that was an added extra for the tv audience (Her speaking Valyrian)LOVED IT!

I also think that Varys importing the wizzard who "cut" him for revenge is extra as well.....bad ass.

I got my wish by proxy.

I don't much care for that sorta fat bully guy from Night's Watch. Hope Mance gets him.

Are we ever going to see the Mountain this season? He's supposed to be so bad, and yet i've seen nothing. Cersi's power is slipping and I can see her making some bold but foolish move to restore it. Her father and brother both remarked how she's not as smart as she thinks she is. Sansa seems like she destined to always be the pawn in someone else's schemes.

The ending was awesome. That dragon totally roasted that douche. Then they sacked the city just like I expected.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON WITH THEON.

Theon was captured by a guy that really really enjoys torturing his victims both physically and psychologically, as demonstrated by releasing him, "helping" him escape, then leading him right back to the torture chamber.

Theon was not even in Book 3. He didn't show up again until Book 4, and he wasn't in very good shape. The TV Show is just trying to keep him in the narrative loop (And failing miserably at keeping it interesting).

Danny DID speak Valeryian in the book, just had that confirmed, that was not a rewrite for the show.

Of that I have no doubt. I just don't remember it being a big reveal (that she knew what he was saying the whole time) during the scene where she took control of the Unsullied.

I went back and flipped through the relevant Danny Chapters to answer my questions, and since the chapter is written from Danny's POV, the reader knows from the first conversation with the slaver that Danny speaks the language -- something a TV viewer would not know unless shown.

It's one of those little points the show was able to capitalize on.

Better than that stupid shithead show Mad Men. Jon Hamm has the acting range of a potato.

Ok..... how the FUCK did that dude come back to life after being split shoulder to sternum by the Hound? And what the fuck is wrong with Stannis' daughter's face? I really hope Robb isn't counting on that Frey dude to help him after marrying that other chick. He'll probably end up attacking Casterly Rock to only have Frey's troops abandon him or not show up at all.

Thoros is a red priest, just like Melisandre, and his magic can bring back the recently deceased.

Shireen Baratheon's face -- she caught a disease called greyscale when she was a baby. It happens in damp climates and is kind of like ... it's hard to describe. It's just a GoT disease.

The best part of the episode was Jamie talking with Brienne in the tub. Plus you can see the tug-o-war over Sansa developing.

Lady Oleanna has been a big plus for the show so far. Her vs. Tywin is a great duel.

I thought it was Cersei and Tyrion looking all pissy after their dad just told them "You'll marry who I tell you to marry and like it!"

Was flipping through the book the other night, they're really moving along quicker than I thought they would if they're gonna stretch Book 3 into 2 seasons.
It's only progress if you eventually get somewhere.
