March madness meet

Unread postby motherscratcher » Fri Mar 01, 2013 12:57 am

Only 3 weeks away. Is there going to be a TCF meet some place?

My vote is for Friday 22nd. As long as my wife isn't in labor I can make that one. It would be good to see some of you assholes again, if only to remind us that we actually like each other.

My vote is for this place:

http://www.sundownerclub.ca/

But, like Ice Cube, I'm down for whatever.

Edit: don't click that link if you're at work because: bewbs

I'll be watching somewhere on the east side. No MRIs or anything scheduled this year.

Knock on wood lest I get hit by a bus this afternoon.

And I was stupid enough to click on that link thinking it was a place between east side and west side.

It was not.

Probably tripped the Progressive alarms. If I get let go I will be working with you as a dentist next week. Licensed or not.

Sorry about the link.

As far as dentistry, I can show you a few things. You'll be fine.

I have pliers, vice grips and a Dremel. Do I need anything else to open up a practice?

I am going to be back in Cleveland for the first time since my Dad's funeral (2008) this July. I am definitely interested in meeting some of you SOBs then. Maybe golf at Manakiki if we can get a foursome together. I know there are better courses, but I always loved Manakiki as a teenager.

Not really. That's 90% of it.

True story: I reduced my own temporary filling with a Dremel in my bathroom a few years back. By I'm a professional so I don't recommend it for you.

Guys who know me from back in the day will attest that I was a pretty good dentist, I generally used a right cross or a size 13 shoe for my extractions. In one case, I used a guys own thumb, but that is a story best told in person.

I'd be in for Friday as well.

Just trying to recapture the magic of the last meet-up, which involved a top 5 rusher and Brandon Weeden.

Furls, let me know the dates you are gonna be in town. Been way too long. Golf, a few beers, or both for sure.

Someone pick a place.

Firehouse/Wright Place at noon?

ETA: No MRIs or any other medical procedures currently scheduled for me so I should be there for afternoon games.

Still 72 hours for that to change...

Trying to call off tomorrow and Friday. If that happens, I just might meet y'all face to face for the 1st time and kick it with a "few" beers. Excellent choice with Wright Place as well, Uber Wingage.

I'm in for tomorrow, as long as I make it home from tonight's Scott Weiland concert in one piece. Noon at Wright Place? Look forward to meeting such an astute, culturally diverse and tolerant group of individuals.

Pretty good chance of you making it home in one piece.

Much lesser chance of Scott Weiland making it through the concert in one piece.
