That sucks on several levels, first off for the kid obviously. Second off, giving those rat bastards and excuse for this year's whitewashing at the hands of Team Meyer this early blows.

Meh... Missing Ryan hurts less than when they had Greg Robinson.
And I doubt there'd be an asterisk in UM's record book had they won last year noting John Simon didn't play.

Big Loss for them but pardon me if I withhold my tears! If The Game is close enough this year that Ryan matters than I will be dissappointed in what Meyer is putting together.
Coming from a Wolverine, we're the football equivalent of a formerly abused wife of a meth addict who just remarried the safe nice guy. We're just glad we have someone who's aware that it's a rivalry and that tackling on defense is integral. Baby steps.
